Known to those in the know as “The Full Charge, Matt Fulchiron hardly lives up to his nickname. Worn down by relationships, adult responsibilities, and limited resources, Fulchiron coasts through his life and his act with a sarcastic and defeated outlook; creating the illusion that Julian Casablancas quit his job as the lead singer of The Strokes to fill in for Rodney Dangerfield. Matt graduated from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he turned his middle-class opportunities into unrealistic ambitions, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Visual arts. Around this time, Matt began making short films in Baltimore and was accepted into several film festivals, including Baltimore’s Microcinefest, where he won “The Best New Director Award. He soon moved to Los Angeles to fulfill his dreams working in movie theaters, post production facilities, cater/waiter cruise ships, landscaping ventures, and “Pepsi Challenge booths. After a bad breakup with a girl he still really hasn’t really gotten over, Fulchiron started performing in coffee houses and bars as a stand up comic. Before he knew it he was even going out on commercial auditions ! ! ! ! ! Fulchiron also starred in the feature film, Hollywood 5, playing the movie theater usher/hipster “Wes. Shot just 7 years ago, the movie is set to be released in the Philippines next August. A regular at The Comedy Store on the Sunset strip, and fresh from his appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Live at Gotham on Comedy Central, Matt performs nightly in order to share his experiences and positive outlook on life.
