BIOGRAPHY
|
|
Originally from Rochester NY, Marianne moved to NYC after graduating from the Syracuse University Drama Department in 1998. She was a regular at Stand Up NY in Manhattan and produced her own comedy shows anywhere she could even if it meant a bar in a subway station or a restaurant basement. Her hard work paid off as she was the winner of the Hollywood Improv Comedy Contest in 2002 and a semi-finalist at the 2003 Boston Comedy Festival. She became a regular on VH1s All Access series and got a spot on Comedy Centrals new series, Live at Gotham .  I've seen Marianne perform a number of times and I laugh just as hard everytime I see her. Her bit about the lost turtle is one of the funniest I've heard since I started doing stand up. We recently did a TV spot together and she was a blast to hang with on set. If you have an opportunity to see Marianne's stand up, GO...she's hilarious.

 Marianne's just got that certain something that's impossible to learn, to genetically engineer, or achieve through Voodoo rituals.
