BIOGRAPHY
|
|
Named as New York's third-funniest amateur Jewish comedian by The Jewish Week and described as "not bad" by his mother, Victor has performed at major comedy clubs around Manhattan. He has also appeared on Staten Island public-access television (twice) and at a family reunion (not his) in Savannah, Ga. His proudest comedic achievement was actually holding the attention of more than 200 Jewish twenty-somethings while performing at an Upper West Side JCC singles event.
Victor's column of commentary and humor, "Letter from New York" is syndicated nationally in more than a dozen newspapers and on several websites. He has also written for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Miami Herald, the Kansas City Star, the Forward, Avenue, and other major magazines and newspapers.
A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Victor graduated from Stanford University, where he studied journalism and psychology, and not engineering or medicine. In 2006, he will receive his MFA in nonfiction writing from New School University.

 From the show I saw, he came off as a very laid back comedian, yet he still gave a direct presentation, keeping calm yet still pulling joke after joke. I really enjoyed seeing his set. Fun to work with too.
