She has performed in clubs, corporate and private events, stage, film and TV all over the world. She has worked with Chicago City Limits, Blue Man Group: Tubes and The National Theatre of Performing Arts. She features in Momedy Comedy as part of the Mamapalooza Festival for Moms who Rock every year. She has been a key player in bringing the arts uptown to Northern Manhattan: the founder, producer and host of the show Stand Up To Spoken Word, a cutting edge comedy and poetry show, as well as The Uptown Arts Stroll Festival Comedy Night and Monkeying Around Uptown, all hot stand-up shows in Washington Heights. Additionally she has ventured even further uptown to the Bronx where she is co-producing a stand-up show with Jacquetta Szathmari at An Beal Bocht Café, W. 238th St., The Bronx, NY 10463 nr. Greystone Ave., 718-884-7127. It will be the first Monday of every month starting January 7th, 2008. Sassi also hosts the Friday 5:30pm show at The New York Comedy Club every week at 241 East 24th Street @ 2nd Ave. in NYC.
