Billy Wood has been doing stand-up for over 5 years and has performed all over NY and NJ, from the mecca of Caroline's to the more humbling "ego-check" rooms like Ben Schedler's bar mitzvah where he was the opening act for Jiggles the Clown. Billy has built a solid set of material that ranges from ridiculous to insightful. He has impressed many an audience as an Emcee, a set-up for the headliner, and as the featured performer at some of the areas most well known venues. He is a NJ-based comic with a car so travel is never a problem, be it to Philly, Long Island, or anywhere that a 13-year old Jewish boy needs an opening act for his headlining clown. But he considers NYC to be 'home base'. Recent successes include opening for Otto & George in NY and NJ for a few dates throughout January & February.
