Former radio personality, Alabama native Benjie Wright has endeared himself to a wide range of audiences. With a contagious laugh and friendly, almost intoxicating demeanor, Benjie's admissions of dysfunction connects to people of all walks of life.
Benjie jumped on to the comedy stage in 2006 at the Stardome Comedy Club in Birmingham, AL at an open mic night. His unique outlook and quick wit was instantly popular launching him into a career in comedy.
That next year Benjie was a finalist in the Stardome Comedy Series, Punchline Atlanta’s Super Comedy Challenge, Mobile’s Belly Laugh Comedy Competition, as well as emceeing the first season of Nashville Star’s field talent search. Now based in Eugene OR, he is the co-host of the Brickwall Comedy Show on KLZS-All Comedy 1450, the “Faces For Radio” television show on KEVU Fox 16, and co-host of the Brickwall Comedycast on Soundcloud.
