Tom Myers is a comedian who tackles any subject. Whether the topic is current events, social and political issues or even a topic other comedians would not even approach, Tom is not afraid to make you laugh about it using his straight-talking, no-holds-barred manner.

In addition to being a comedian, Tom is an actor, a sports P.A. announcer and an event emcee with several years of experience in the performing arts.

Tom was born on January 29, 1983 in Maryland. He started as an improv performer in 1998 at only 15 years of age. He stopped doing improv in 2001 to focus on stand-up comedy. He performed his first stand-up routine during an audition for a talent show his senior year in high school. While a student at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, Tom participated in open mics and talent showcases. Goucher’s newspaper, The Quindecim, ran an article on him while he was still a student, calling his comedy "an amusing form of social commentary."

In 2004, Tom recorded and produced his own comedy CD, "Words of Mass Destruction." In addition to doing comedy, Tom hosted a news/comedy/quiz/talk show called "The Myers Experience" on Goucher’s radio station and appeared in a handful of plays before graduating with a History degree in 2005.

Since leaving college, Tom has performed in several states and the District of Columbia. He has performed four times for the soldiers at the Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington and even appeared on Baltimore’s Comcast on Demand "Comedy Spotlight" and on Washington DC’s "Capital Comedy Connection" and Local Point TV.

Tom has made several appearances at comedy festivals, having performed at the 2007 Baltimore Comedy Fest, the 2010 LOL @ Artscape in Baltimore, Maryland, the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas in 2011, 2012 and 2013 as well as the 2017 Pittsburgh satellite, the 2013 Cape May Comedy Festival in Cape May, New Jersey, the Charm City Comedy Fest in Baltimore, Maryland in 2014, 2016 and 2017and the Gilda Radner’s LaughFest in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2016.

Tom's second CD, "Pitchforks, Torches and Other Random Thoughts" was released on November 11, 2013. The CD was recorded and produced in Maryland, using more updated recording equipment than the kind used to record "WMD." Tom followed that release in July 2015 with "Shot From The Quip," a collection of his "Best Of" moments from the radio show "Walrus and Friends."

Tom is also an actor, with stage and film performances dating back to his days in high school when he was a two-time performer at the Harford County Drama Festival (1999, 2001). Tom's 2001 performance featured his performance as the Hatter in "Alice in Americaland." While a college student, Tom performed in a number of stage shows, including a student-written and produced production, "The Newport Flower Convention," and an adaptation of the Jean-Paul Sartre play "No Exit." Tom's film credits include two short films, "Schizofriendia" and "Dark Haven," and full-length features such as “The Holy Sound” and “Same Dance.” Tom has appeared on television reenactment series such as "Southern Fried Homicide" and "Deadly Affairs" on Investigation Discovery as well as "American Genius" on the National Geographic Channel.

In 2015, Tom was a regular co-host on "Walrus and Friends," an online lunchtime radio show on the Long Island-based LIBR - The Ride. The show enjoyed a three-month run and was broadcast from a studio in Abingdon, Maryland.

Currently, Tom is also a PA announcer for the weekend youth tournaments at Ripken Baseball in Aberdeen, Maryland. Tom has announced games for the Cal Ripken World Series.

Tom is also a writer for "PolitiPod," a humor-based podcast focusing on current events.

Tom is currently working on "Tom Myers's Declaration of Unrepentance," a stand-up/sketch comedy mini-series in which Tom will star, produce and co-write with writer/actor Dan Davis.
