Hi, my name is Taylor Williamson. Im a comedian. I was born June 15, 1986 in San Diego. I started performing standup comedy when I was seventeen years old during my senior year of high school. I moved to Los Angeles a year later to pursue my comedy career and not attend classes at CSU Northridge. I perform regularly at many of the top clubs in Los Angeles, including the Improv where I am a favorite. Budd Friedman saw me perform just a week before I turned 19, asked me What kind of name is Williamson for a Jewboy?, and then booked me at his clubs in Reno and Las Vegas. (Being Jewish helps in this business). In Spring 2005, I was featured in an article on the Los Angeles comedy scene in Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine. New York Magazine recently called me a Name to Watch and commented on my cerebral wit. After reading this article, I looked up the word cerebral and was very flattered. Not only have I appeared in magazines, but Ive also been on TV! (This officially makes me better than you). I performed in hilarious sketches for the hit show The Daily Habit on Fuel TV. My grandma loves that program. I travel all around the country and have opened for some of my favorite comedians, including Todd Glass and Robert Schimmel. I have a lot of exciting things coming up in the next ten years including: appearances on Comedy Central and David Letterman, an HBO special, a sitcom on the Disney channel, a failed marriage, a few stints in rehab, and a starring role in the 12th season of The Surreal Life.
