I began performing stand-up in September, 1994. Starting with a comedy workshop presided over by the comedian and writer, Eric Kornfeld, the first day of that workshop was also the first time I performed any of my material on a stage.
Since then I have performed at The Producer's Club, The Comedy Cellar, Don't Tell Mama, Ha!, The Duplex, NY Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, THe Comic Strip, Caroline's, The Boston Comedy Club and in th ecomedy revues "Baby Boomerang" and "Something Funny's Going On..." at Rose's Turn, for which I also served as co-producer.
I studied acting at HB Studio and filmmmaking at the New School for Social Research, and have written and directed several short films and videos. I also produced and hosted a series of shows at the New ork Comedy Club entitled "Stand-Up Sisters".
I attended and performed a the Las Vegas Comedy Festival a the Stardust Hotel in September, 2002 and was semi-finalist in the Hollywood Improv contest at Stand-Up Ny in 2003.
In June, 2004 I booked and shot a Weight Watchers Industrial. IN August 2004 I was an extrain an MTV promo.
I have recently finished a comedy workshop led by Tracy Esposito and have performed on the same stage with her at the Producer's Club.
In late 2004 and mid 2005 I took a several on-camera workshops and a scene study class taught by darlene Violette.
