Currently a freshman at Marymount Manhattan College, getting a degree in Theater with a focus in Acting and Playwriting, Van is taking the comedy world by storm. Being a stage performer, Van Corona uses his Theater background to help make any stage seem like home. Before moving to New York, Van stood on stage and told jokes in Dallas, Texas. With his numerous club appearances all over the city, and the producing of his own showcase shows, such as The Underage Comics and Van Coronas Warped Farewell Tour help make him one of Dallass Hottest Comics (as voted on After his graduation from the Arts Magnet High School (class of 2006), Van Corona moved to New York City to continue his Theater and Stand up Comedy. Being a freshman in the New York Comedy scene, Van Corona has quickly made his way though the comedy community. His club appearances have been at such notable clubs as The New York Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar, The Broadway Comedy Club and The Comic Strip. Stand up Comedy is not Van's only way to make people laugh, Van is also a large force (not a stab at his size) in the world of improv and comedy. He trained at Second City Chicago, and is a member of the Nutz and Boltz Improv Troupe. He is currently teamed up with A.J. Cote, and together they write comedy songs. Van's unique sense of comedy caught the eye of Jake Sasseville, the producer, host and much more the up and coming talk show The Edge with Jake Sasseville. Jake quickly had Van join the writing team of his show. Van Corona is just a sexy, sexy man, who is still with out a girlfriend.
