Young, smart, different, and funny. Oz Blaker has been performing Comedy in New York City for five years. He has been featured at several New York comedy clubs, including The Improv, Stand-Up New York, and the Laugh Factory, as well as nationally recognized clubs such as The Improv, Baltimore. In 2004 Oz graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University, where he majored in Philosophy and Humor Studies, the latter of which a curriculum he created and designed. Oz's interests in comedy extend into the academic sphere; his senior thesis was an analysis of past and contemporary humor theory. Oz has also had experience in the acting realm. He has been featured in several student films, and has worked professionally doing voice-work for radio stations from New York (WPLJ) to California (KUSS). Oz's first love, however, is stand up comedy, where he hopes to make his name. Oz has been described as sweet, witty, and thought-provoking. Hard-working and fearless, Oz Blaker is a fresh young comic face soon to be a name on the stand-up comedy scene.
